Our initiative

 In a troubled world, where the wealthiest 1% of the population holds more than 50% of the world's riches; where about 800 million people suffer from hunger, and in the same place where food to feed more than one and a half Planet Earth is produced, it is necessary to build a critical insight of reality in order to become active participants.

It is also essential that knowledge and information turn into tools for the development of an active individual, capable not only of feeling touched about reality, but also of gaining momentum to get involved.Being aware of the realities that coexist in our world doesn't mean stuffing yourself with information and feeling sorry about adverse facts; it means taking the news and the data distributed to interpret the environment we live in and leave aside a passive stance.

Our project is aimed at creating a space for sharing data that goes beyond the agenda established by the media, and therefore promoting a point of view which allows us to rebuild, supplement and compare the reality we are offered by such media as a means to become critical readers. This site is also intended for giving room to good news and sharing non-news-related topics, that is, not those issues that are relevant when published and fade away as time goes by, but those that deserve to be addressed, never lose currency and should be re-read and discussed.
