Art in a tea bag

The Philippine draughtswoman and plastic artist Ruby Silvious uses tea bags as a canvas for her tiny artwork. Take a look at some of the pieces in her 363 Days of Tea collection, which consists of one painting per day during almost a year.

Images made from screws

The draughtsman and plastic artist Andrew Myers creates portraits and objects with screws. The pieces take weeks of intensive work, and the result is impressive.

A chipboard supports each piece, and the first step is to draw the contours of the image. He then perforates the board and starts arranging the screws. It sounds easy, but the work is intense...

Once the piece is finished, Myers paints the screws to create the shades with the colours and provide the artwork with a realistic touch.
